Tom Craggs Marathon Taper Week Tips
UK elite running coach, Tom Craggs is back with a series of training and recovery tips to help you through London Marathon taper week.
Tip 1 – Stay Positive
Look back over those key training runs that went really well. Write them down and remind yourself of them throughout this week. 
Tip 2 – Less is More
Keep the frequency of your training up and the legs ticking over – just reduce the volume. 
Tip 3 – Take Care at the Expo
The Expo is an incredibly inspiring place but it can be an exhausting experience.
Tip 4 – Save Your Strength
Watch the elements of your day to day life that are the most taxing.
Tip 5 – Look After Your Muscles
Think about a light sports massage early in the week. Concentrate on those key stretches. Stay off your feet as much as possible and wear your OOFOS when walking around.
