Run_Bradders_Run OOmg Fibre Review
I first found out about OOFOS on Instagram and listening to other people talk highly about the brand. This got me thinking as to whether they are really that good. Those of you who have followed me for a while will know I have already written a short review on the OOFOS OOriginals were I fallen in love with them.
I have now got myself a pair of the new OOFOS OOmg.

Before I get to the review I want to briefly explain what OOFOS are about.

About OOFOS

OOFOS is an extremely popular brand within the running community as the recovery footwear of choice. They offer a variety of footwear which help your feet recover in ways that typical footwear cant.

Key features are:

– Absorbs 37% more shock than typical foams
– Reduces stress on sore feet, knees and back
– Cradles your arches
– Enables natural foot motion
– Shower ready & machine washable
– Durable OOFOAM holds its cushion for life

You will likely have seen them being worn at races and as an increasing trend on Instagram.

OOmg Review

I will focus on 3 aspects within the review; how they look, how they feel and Price. I’ll then rate each aspect and give my overall rating.

Comfort

OOFOS certainly know how to make comfortable footwear and the OOmg are no different. As a busy father of two boys I am always on my feet running after them, playing, jumping, dancing. When I heard about OOFOS, my original thought was for recovery after runs but when I seen the OOmg I knew there would be another use….long days out with the family.

Like most when you’re on a family day out you spend lots of time on your feet and it doesn’t take long for your feet to ache. This is not a problem if you have a pair of OOmg.

I have worn them on numerous days out and can’t rate them highly enough for comfort.

Comfort rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Appearance

If you have seen a pair of OOFOS before they you know they look a little clumpy and the OOmg are no exception.

When they arrived I honestly wasn’t all that sure but as soon as I put them on they looked great. I have mostly worn them with shorts but have also worn them with jeans and they just looked like a normal pair of trainers.

They are light weight, breathable and my feet didn’t feel sweaty after a full day on my feet. I also quite liked the design and love the bright green.

Appearance rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cost

There is no denying the fact that the OOmg are pricey, retailing at £120 they’re about the same amount you would spend on a pair of running shoes.

We invest in top quality running shoes, trainers, smart footwear so why not do the same with recovery wear. Not only can the OOmg be used to treat your feet after a long run but they can also help those long family days not take there toll on your feet.

To most the cost may just be a little too much. But as they have multi uses and will last a long time they’re definitely worth a look.

Cost rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you’re looking for comfortable, multi use footwear and want something to last then the OOFOS are worth a look. The comfort alone makes up for the cost and with someone who has suffered with shinsplints for sometime I can say that they’ve helped me tremendously.

In addition to a great shoe, OOFOS have fantastic customer service who are extremely helpful no matter your issue. From order, to payment, to dispatch to receipt, the process is seamless and very quick…good job OOFOS UK.
